On Tuesday, June 12th Olivia d’Abo joined her colleagues at The Second City for the 3rd Annual RIGHT TO LAUGH comedy event to raise funds benefiting The Alliance For Children’s Rights, which focuses on protecting the rights of impoverished and abused children and youth so that they have safe homes, health care and the education they need to thrive.

500 guests and acclaimed comedic actors and comedians filled the Avalon in Hollywood for this event, which also honored the world’s premiere comedy theater and school of improvisation, The Second City, a breeding ground for talent that supplies Hollywood with some of the funniest and talented people in comedy.

The sketch comedy show included the talented Martin Short, Patricia Heaton, Richard Kind, Olivia d’Abo, Larry David, Laraine Newman, George Wendt, David Steinberg, Amy Yasbeck, Ed Begley Jr., Fred Willard, Ron West and Steve Carell, to name a few.

Ron West, Richard Kind and Olivia d’Abo performed one of the famous Second City archive scenes, “The Waiter”.

The evening raised a record breaking $190,000! These funds make is possible for The Alliance to continue to protect the rights of impoverished and abused children, giving them a reason to LAUGH again.
